Coastal Physiotherapy has been treating patients along the North West Coast of Tasmania for over 14 years. It is commited to continuing this provision of Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation services to the community as a whole. We have professional staff that can assess and treat many musculoskeletal injuries by using hands on Physiotherapy techniques, supervised hydrotherapy, supervised gym programs, Pilates, workplace assessments, real time ultrasound, and manual handling training.

Referrals:

A referral from a Doctor is not necessary for private patients. If you are a workers compensation, MAIB, Veteran Affairs or other third party patients, you will require a Doctors referral prior to being assessed by a Physiotherapist.

Fees:

Fees are payable at the time of your consultation, which can be claimed at the time of your consultation using your private insurance card. We have access to Hicaps which in most cases only require a small or no out of pocket co payment.

If your Physiotherapy treatment is due to an insurance claim and your claim is accepted, you may be able to apply for Coastal Physiotherapy to direct bill your insurance company. Please ensure that you have contacted your insurance company for prior approval before you attend your physiotherapy appointment.

Cancellation Policy:

A cancellation fee will be charged for non-attendance or failure to notify the practice within 12 hours of your scheduled appoinment.
